Matthew D. Harrell,

Pastor Harrell answered the call of the Lord to ministry in 2002 when he was 22 years old, and since that time he has committed himself to preaching and teaching The Word of God, however, whenever, and wherever The Lord would have him to do so. Pastor Harrell’s ministerial experience includes that of Evangelist, Lay Minister, and Pastor; he has filled roles in churches located in Georgia, Alabama, and Kansas. Pastor Harrell has been licensed by the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI) since 2005.

In May of 2013 Pastor Harrell Graduated from Pittsburg State University (Pittsburg, KS) with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management and Marketing, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology with an emphasis in Human Resource Development.

Pastor Harrell is also a veteran of the United States Army, serving as a 19-Delta Cavalry Scout from 1997 to 2003. During his military service Pastor Harrell was deployed to Kuwait twice, Iraq once (Operation Iraqi Freedom,) and completed a one-year assignment to Camp Garry Owen, located in Munsan, South Korea. As a Cavalryman that saw combat Pastor Harrell was inducted into The Order of the Spur in 2003 while stationed at Fort Stewart, GA, with the 7th U.S. Cavalry Regiment.

Pastor Harrell is married to Rebecca M. Harrell and they have two children: Elijah Harrell and Eliana Harrell.

Sis. Rebecca Harrell responded to the call of ministry at the age of 12, when she began to be used in her local church to play the violin during services. Since that early age Sis. Harrell has gone-on to fill needs in churches located in both Kansas and Alabama. In addition to the violin Sis. Harrell has also participated in ministry through the following instruments, roles, and areas: piano, organ, back-up singer, lead singer, children’s ministry, youth ministry, bus ministry, church finances, Sunday School, ladies ministry, cleaning and maintenance, and sign team (as part of ministering to the hearing impaired.) In addition to serving via individual roles Sis. Harrell also has a wide range of experience in coordinating areas of ministry as well, at various times she has been asked to coordinate children’s ministry, youth ministry, ladies ministry, bus ministry, music ministry, and Sunday School.

Sis. Harrell graduated High School from Fort Scott Christian Heights, a private school located in Fort Scott, KS. Sis. Harrell then went on to further her education by graduating from Fort Scott Community College with an Associate of Elementary Education. Currently Sis. Harrell is finishing her Bachelor of Elementary Education at the University of Montevallo (Montevallo, AL,) with an expected graduation date of Dec. 2016.

Sis. Harrell is married to the pastor of The Church of Vincent (AL,) where she serves as the Director of Sunday School and Music Ministry; her and her husband have two children: Elijah and Eliana Harrell.
